UNIVERSAL Chooses LIPINSKI

"My staff of highly trained, and experienced audio engineers - and all of our clients - consider the Lipinski's to be the best sounding, and most accurate monitors they have experienced in their careers." says Senior Director of Studio Operations, Nick Dofflemyer.

"What beautiful sounding speakers! All the nuance that I work so hard on in the mix is stunningly reproduced. Well done."

"The 707's sound is in the same league as that of the best loudspeakers I've ever heard, including Egglestons, Wilson Watt/Puppys and Dunlavy SC5's."

"...I could not decide which of the two layers I preferred, and ultimately passed on that record, as the Lipinski microscopes continue to reveal the most minute flaws in any recording. My collection of "real goods" has shrunk somewhat on the Lipinskis."

"Best reproduction I've ever had in 40 years of putting together stereo systems!"

"At the risk of sounding trite (my high school English teacher would be aghast) I feel as if I found a "new lease on life." The L-707s and L-150G just "disappear" in the soundstage.
Imaging extends way beyond the boundaries of the speakers; instruments have palpability that is downright spooky at times. I can more easily discern incremental changes in equalization and effects processing now. We immediately purchased the entire package.
There are few things more impressive to me than making a skeptic into a believer. Consider me an evangelist for the Lipinski Sound phenomenon."

"With Lipinski Sound Monitors you can actually forget you are using any monitors at all!!! They are so natural sounding and transparent, that you can have an impression of being at the source of the sound itself. The transient responce and imaging are awesome.
"I never imagined that speakers of that size could sound that big (I mean the satellites) Working on them is a sheer pleasure. Just get your mics and preamps right and go!!!

"If more engineers were using monitors like these there might be a lot less abuse inflicted on poor defenseless audio."
"Aside from the generally lovely and transparent sound, it is the dynamic resolution that seems to impress most. You can really hear what processors are doing. The time resolution of these speakers is phenomenal."

"(I use) the L-150 with the dedicated sub-amp provided by Lipinski Sound. I have the 707's driven by a Bryston 5B-ST with a Meitner Switchman II monitor controller. These speakers are a learning experience for sure." "Great records sound really great, flawed records sound really flawed. Too much information? Not at all, the truth just takes getting used to. I'm also able to master at lower SPL, not that I usually blast, but it's much more comfortable over a long session. Great new gear is always a treat, but these speakers go far beyond that. They're opening a whole new world. As you can probably tell, I'm smitten."

"My ref system is a pair of Dunlavy Alethas which are an impressive speaker, if not somewhat misleading at various points in the mid-midrange. (The Aletha's seem to dip at around 4k and peak at about 9k, and there is also a dip around 350Hz.) The L-707 midrange and treble has been a revelation."

"I had silently put away the topic "passive monitoring" some time ago on my personal sideline. What extraordinary things could possibly still happen there? Well, something has happened now, and in a quality that leaves me really beaming with pleasure."

"The L-409 is reminiscent of a vintage Class A mic preamp. Though it sounds like neither, its performance reminds me of falling somewhere between an API and a Neve 1081."

"The L-408 is one of the finest clean-sounding mic preamps that I've ever encountered. The resolution and detail of the pres are amazing, especially in the bottom end."

"I have plenty of gear that makes my job easier, but the L-707's have made me a better engineer."

"After a month with my L-707's and L-150 I'm completely in love. Like many great speakers, the Lipinskis have a flat frequency response. What I think sets them above the rest is their incredible amplitude and time resolution. Percussive material is wonderfully present, the imaging is holographic from edge to edge, and even the lightest dynamic processing is easy to hear."

"I have been mixing with the 707's exclusively for a while now, I have them set up on stands positioned in an equilateral triangle in front of the console. Wow, What an unbelievable mixing experience, what a focus, very small adjustments are clearly audible. Every time I sit down and work or listen to something it's so easy to hear what's going on. From Rock to Jazz to R&B etc. They are absolutely Incredible."

...sometime later...

"These L-707 monitors are great! The imaging and transient response are incredible! I can hear subtle balance and processing adjustments that I want to make, a lot easier. Using these monitors on top of the console meter bridge has proven very successful for me. I have used them for both mixing and tracking sessions here at Avatar, I love them."

"I'm amazed at the dynamics that come out of these loudspeakers and the way they translate to the real world. These L707's produce the very fine detail in music that doesn't seem to be revealed in other monitor systems.

After trying several "tuned" powered monitors, this passive monitor system is the one that works best for my ears. These monitors won't lie to you."
